I took a look into logs of this week's Dailycious races. On Monday there was a huge lag on race start, because someone was connecting (and failed anyway). The only resulting problem was Masai lost his 1st place. But, I'm sorry to say, that was purely because of his mad pitting. His positions was set as 1st, but then he pitted (for about 6th time during the 2 minutes between qual end and race start), and when LFS decided some 10 seconds later final grid positions, he was not on track. When he joined back, naturally he got last place. So please! When you join track 30 or 15 seconds before race start, just STAY ON TRACK, wait and you're cool, we'll take care of you. On Tuesday it was i believe DNB complaining he lost his grid position. No wonder, because he pitted from track just 1 minute before qualification ended. Please, do realize that you can NEVER pit from track. It is not like you need to confirm/validate your lap time only once and then it stays. ALWAYS you can pit/spec ONLY from pitlane. Pitting from track during quali will erase your session lap time and it doesn't matter when you made it. Well, this said, maybe we can change the qualification principle, going back to LFS standard, what do you think? This pit-only-from-pitlane is causing troubles, also in the minds of our team members. But on the other hand people are learning how to do it properly, so I'm not sure. Ideas and opinions are welcome.

Well as I see it EQ! It does seem to confuse a lot of people...and always will do as more and more people sample the server. If there is a more simple way to impliment the qualifying and make it more reliable and less confusing,id say go with that.IMO But depends on how much works involved in arranging grid positions.

Well, the idea would be simply to let LFS manage it using the qualification possitions as shown the the table. That would mean people can pit/spec as much as they want, no !ss is necessary, you see your position in LFS-generated table etc. Qual would still end on time as it is now, Airio would give preferential race join to 32 with best session time (the same as in qual table), LFS will order people by their time. So, rather standard qual session, except spectating everyone when timer goes to 0:00, but we may change this as well, like leaving people to do whatever they want, just starting race timer (120 to 0), spectating everyone on 30...

Framaris wrote: Only improvement I would see is the timing, maybe 15 sec for the ppls in ss and 15 sec for ppls who are not is a bit too short for some??? Well, it is this short intentionaly to prevent fooling around. In those 30/15 seconds your only task is to get to track and then wait. Still, surprising amount of people keep pitting, joining again, pitting, joining, like mad. Then they either lose their preferential place on track (race is suddenly full) or position on the grid (by not being on track when sorting hapens 2 seconds before race starts). Everyone has 90 seconds to get the right setup for race, then 30 seconds to get to track. Seems quite a lot to me for these two simple matters.

As the system is setup now, it allows one race rejoin in first 2 minutes, which would mean 1 lap on longer tracks and first 2 laps on shorter ones. We'll see how it goes, if this option is not misused for reckless driving. But I'm sure it would help Carpio yesterday...

I chrashed bad at the bridge wall yesterday Most ppl just spec out after they chrash and i thought about it as well. However if everyone that chrashed were to spec out then less then 10 would finish the race where 20 started which wouldnt look good imo Still i did better times thanks to ppl helping my setup But I'm still 3 sec behind the lead, how do u fly guys ? I dont use advanced techniques like left foot braking or heel&toe atm (i dont have clutch pedal yet, i'm using automatic clucth with my h shifter), do they make such a big difference? ps: my momo wheel lasted ok till the end of race when i let it to rest for a while :P it looks like it gets sloppy after 1-2 hours of continuous play. I couldnt ask support from logitech yet though cause their mail server is down till 5th of october ps2: i killed the large mosquito this morning which flew by my screen and touching my arm (very irritating) during the race :P

Yesterday it was a good race for me. On start i try to pass in first corner Michael external, i leave space to him but touch a little me and i losted control, i'm very sorry for that. After it was a good race with Masai first and Malcomax after. After my pit when i was entering on track Malcomax crashed Mario (lapped) and he race finished there. I was first but my fucking connection go off and race was lost. It will be for next time.

Was a good race to watch, a lot happened and it was clean all the way. Grats to Loque for a very consistent race! There was one incident where Alexio got crashed by [DR] Kaique (already had a DT penalty for crashing Cayenne in the same race) in the beginning of lap 16th, so I've reviewed the action and some others from previous races. Those dirty moves will not be allowed on our servers, so [DR] Kaique is banned for 120 days which will prevent him from racing in the series in the future. Yesterday's results:
