2010 NDR Summer Event: Information and Registration
The 2010 NDR Summer Event. Why ? Because we can.
Date: 27 July 2010
Time: 18:00 UTC
Length: 2 hour race
Server: NDR.2010 Summer Event
Password will be PMed at a time closer to the event
Track: SO4R - South City Long REversed
Cars: GT2: FZR 20%; XRR 24%; FXR 23% AND TBO: FXO 3%; XRT; RB4
I have not yet decided on a qualifying format, but it will either be:
- Open server, Airio monitored qualifying running from Thursday to Tuesday just before the race, or
- Two 20-minute sessions per class immediately before the event.
The major rules of the event are:
* The NDR Sporting Code applies. We're not going to be terribly picky about things like skins though.
* Please watch out for Blue Flags, and respect each other when passing. Keep in mind what the NDR Sporting Code says: It says a blue flagged car must stay predictable and not interfere with a properly presented overtake, not simply pull off to the side.
* One Mandatory Pit Stop must be made during the race. It can be made any time between the start of the race and 5 minutes remaining. There is no service requirement enforced, just that you make a pitstop.
* Blend line crossing will not be enforced, unless it leads to an incident. Please take care to stay within the blend lines on entry and exit regardless.
* The start of the race is a standing start.
* Always have the utmost respect for your competitors.
* Protests will be able to be lodged in a thread created closer to event day.
* We have a Ventrilo server if you want to join us for voice chat. Server is denmark.ventriloservers.biz, port is 3828.
* Please no chat in server unless completely unavoidable. Feel free to block messages.
* If you are changing drivers, the incoming driver should be in server for no more than approximately the one lap prior to the swap, and the outgoing driver should leave within approximately one lap.
Currently, we will be offering 15 slots for each class. This may change based on interest.
To enter, please post in the following format. If you wish to team up with another driver, list all drivers in the team in the same post. Single cars only one driver. You may use any number from 0-999. Leading zeroes in a number will not make the number different to the same number without the leading zeroes, eg. 09 is the same as 9.
Provide, filling in where appropriate (data in is solely for example, replace with your data):
teamName: New Dimension Racing
class: TBO
car: RB4
number: 42
driver:
- {dekojester, Jonathan Palmer, USA}
- {hyntty, Timo Hynninen, Finland}
