Dailycious Series Part3! After a great racing year in 2009 we had a well deserved winter break (nothing worse than tired admins to manage a server), during that time we’ve seen LFS take the arcade road, the much awaited patch is creating a strange ambiance which is making the community lose its sim racers. So before everyone leaves we are going to try to make a small contribution to sim racing, so the idea is to restart dailycious for 10 weeks before the summer. This time it will be a little different, we have spent the winter creating a close cooperation between Ready2Roll & AirAttack & Rasta4Racing & Eteam (more on this later…), so 4 servers will run daylicious, & AA demo, & R4R TBO/GTI, & R2R GEN and a 4th server which we will call & R2R GEN PRO for now. The idea here is to have one team dedicated to each server running dailycious. The series will be open for everyone as always, the racing will be organized with sim racing spirit and with different levels of difficulty, races will have different length and many cars will be used… We will use the safety handicap (GTi/TBO, GEN) for driver under the 70% (!safe), meaning that 5kg extra mass will added for each 5% under the 70% to unsafe drivers, new drivers on our servers will be attributed a safety index of 70% when they join the first time, so it will be up to them to maintain it to avoid handicap. All servers stats will be reset, everyone will have equal chances at the start and you will be able to drive all cars with no licenses restrictions to drive them… The & R2R GEN PRO server will be a bit different, we have been talking to many racers like us about using realistic settings and respecting wheel turn, inside view, H-shifter and manual clutch. But many say that they don’t use those settings because almost no one use them and it would mean being slower and that is not acceptable for most of us, so we want to start an experiment and use this server to do that. It means that the server will be restricted for those settings, interested racers will have to register and agree to a short contract to enter our Sim Club, only then they will be able to race on this server, others will be allowed to spectate. The server will have its own stats to allow us to compare them with others who use the same settings… Note that this server will be closely watched and replays will be saved, so in case of cheating, exclusion from this server will be definitive, no second chances or appeal will be possible. So if you think you are hardcore enough and want to try something different, follow this link (first week will stay public to give time to everyone to try it): ...php?f=67&t=674Servers descriptions: & AA Demo Racing: Managed by Air Attack team. Here we want to enter the demo scene and offer its racers some more serious racing on weekly basis. It will run the 3 allowed cars on BL1 and BL1R with 2 Dailycious races of 20min + 1lap every Sunday's with reversed grid for the second. The last week of dailycious all 3 cars will be used, one per race. Events will be every sunday's and a minimum of coper license will be necessary to enter the race. Sunday's Qualifications: 18 :30 UTC (25min) Race1: 19 :00 UTC (20min+1lap) Race2: 19:30 UTC (20min+1lap) & R2R GEN Racing: Managed by Ready2Roll team. Here we will run 5 categories of cars GTL/GT2/GT1/FBM/FOX, Each category will run twice during the 10 weeks. One category per week and 1 tracks per week and we’ll have 2x20min + 1lap (No pit and with reverse grid for the second race) dailycious race every Monday's. Monday's Qualifications: 18 :30 UTC (25min) Race1: 19 :00 UTC (20min+1lap) Race2: 19:30 UTC (20min+1lap) & R2R GEN PRO (Sim Club): Managed by the cooperation. So here we want to start a little experiment to see if we could get a group to like some more realistic ways of racing, by that we mean H-shifter, Manual clutch, original wheel turn and inside view. I know some will say that not everyone has a G25 and this was true a 2 or 3 years ago, but by now most ppls have one or similar. The server will be able to control things like the H-shifter, Manual clutch and inside view. Here we will use 10 of the 12 cars with H shifter, UF1, XFG, XRG, LX4, RB4, FXO, XRT, FZ5, UFR, FZR, with one car and one track per week. The server will be ''private'', but it will remain open for everyone to try during the first week of training (with easy UF1), we’ll do 8 laps sprint races with pit during the week and 40min + 1lap + pit Dailycious race every Wednesday's… Here there will be no safety handicap or minimum license to enter the events because registered racers will be considered as respectable sim racers… Wednesday's Qualifications: 18:30 UTC (25min) Race: 19 :00 UTC (40min+1lap+pit) & R4R GTI/TBO: Managed by Rasta4Racing. Like we’ve seen in many occasion TBO has ups and downs, so we will add the XFG and XRG which will give them 5 cars, Each car will run twice during the 10 weeks series. Here we will use only one car at the time and one track per week ending with 40min + 1lap + pit Dailycious race every Thursday's. Thursday's Qualifications: 18:30 UTC (25min) Race: 19 :00 UTC (40min+1lap+pit) All races are automatically managed by Airio, so schedule will be respected and you will be able to join the second in multi race events. We are a big organisation and many of us will be racing most events, we hope you'll join the fun! Have fun Racers! Program:(click to enlarge)

As you already know i am quite new at lfs, i dont have the exrerience on how things work on servers or how to make them popular. So i will just say my stupid idea. I have a favorite car (its the lx), so other people must have favorite cars too. Maybe more than one car could be open for practice or racing (not all of them) in that certain course. Like a multiclass server. I dont know how that can be aranged, and could ba just a comletely stupid idea. I would like to be able to choose a difrent car, maybe slower, but a car i will enjou much more.
...or i could just shut up and let people that now what their doing to do it right
edit: sorry, didnt clarify, i was refering to the GEN PRO

...or i could just shut up and let people that now what their doing to do it right Well it is a long debate, server like IHR are doing a great job in multi class, the problem in LFS is that ppls tend to do only what works at that moment. The last couples of months LFS has been going the arcade way and we are looking more for realism and sim racing, so we want to offer an alternative. Of course that means that servers will be a bit harder to populate, but we know the challenge and we prefer great races with 15/20 cars than poor one with 32's. Our public servers have been very populated last year during the 2 first parts of Dailycious series and we've learned quite a few things about what we liked and not... Gen PRO is an experiment which could develop and stay for a long time, but of course it is restricted for ppls with the right wheels, not everyone has the money for that. So we hope to see the group grow, but it will probably stay a bit exclusive during the first months, but we have a lot of racing to do on other servers, GTi/TBO is one which is always disputed with enthusiasm...

Hi Guys! Just a little note....due to a complex configuration issues with R2R GEN and AA Demo Racing servers, these two leagues will be moved forward by a week. So, for this week, there will be no races for R2R GEN and AA Demo. Thus, the first race for these two starts next week. We are sorry for the inconvenience and looking forward to next week Thank you for your understanding! Cheers B1K3R

It was fun last night, I had little training before, so my plan was to take it easy, carpio and aerox started with an infernal pace, with aerox doing 1:31:58 (-0:01WR), so best chance was to fight with the rest of us (the humans) for the last place on the podium. Sadly Carpio had some problems and had to retire, so lucky second place for me with B!K3R and MoMo in my mirrors. Grats to Aerox for the win and an impressive start! THX to everyone who has participated, it was a fair race and blue flags were well respected, you are all gentlemen sim racers!

Great work Aerox, we are proud of you!! Last night was great, 21 cars qualified and the first 17 drivers were spread over 0.8 sec, it was promising a fast and heavy race and it was, great stuff guys! Congratulation to Kiensle for a great win! Now for my last night's race, well I came unprepared as always, but this time it was showing badly and I had difficulty to find consistency and bad luck was around the corner... Got crashed by Dandy Dust on lap 16 when passing him, shit happens, but I am still puzzled by his reaction when he congratulated me for it?? or was it him self he was congratulating? Anyway I finished 10th and scored 6 precious points for the championship... Here are last night's results:

Hey The new topic created earlier is the new, as I understand it, complain topic. This complain came private and were therfor dealt private aswell. I think for the sake of everyone it's best to give the offender the information by PM. Again, this because we want to ensure everyone is dealt with proffesionally and kind. We do not make difference on people. Hope this helps Best regards, The Very End

In RL Marshal decisions are rarely public, drivers can report problems by TS, PM's, forum or just by using the feedback button on top of the forum. Replay speaks for it self, laps were mentioned and a PM was sent, replay's can be downloaded from here: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=685That doesn't mean you don't have a chance to appeal on decision which has been done here: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=533Like I said many time we try to manage our severs with 3 principles, Friendly, fair and fun, so nothing personal, it's just that we have sim racing minds and we take our races seriously .

Oh yeah, was an exciting race! Race 1 Fram flew away and Boss, General and myself battled for the whole race, was really good. Second race...I started strong...but Fram's pressure was too much to take (even though he was being gentle with me!)...at some point he was on my ass and dive bombed in the fast chicane leaving me with open mouth....then I tried to keep up but touched the grass, spin off and damaged the car....darn....second place would have been secure, buy hey, I always keep pushing to the end, guess I should learn not to go beyond my limits.... Well, its a pity DnB stayed watching Baby TV (ups I mean Babe TV) instead of racing..would have been more interesting Tonight GEN PRO!!! Should be another great exciting race!

Framaris wrote: Sorry mate, I didn't realize it was a dive bomb, not really my style, specially that I was not rushing things and waiting for you to make a mistake... But since you were not making any and your pace was above what I would have expected, I had to attack you a bit...just hope you didn't crash because of me? Hehehe...no, it wasnt a bad dive bomb m8, it was a good one. You were behind my ass and its very difficult to make a move in the chicane so I was not expecting it It was a great move m8 from your end No, I didn't crash cause of you, in fact it was a few laps later when trying to catch you up
